Armenian Minister of Agriculture Davit Lokian Visiting Canada |
On September 28-30, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Lokian visited Canada, where he met with a number of officials to discuss Canada's possible role in assisting Armenia in developing its hail prevention system and achieving high crop production.
On Monday, September 29, Minister Lokian met in Ottawa with Canada's Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lyle Vanclief and CIDA's Acting Vice-President, Director General for Policy and Planning in CEE Branch, Catherine Bragg.
While in Canada, Mr. Lokian also met with representatives of the Canadian-Armenian community. |
