New Primate of the Canadian Diocese of the
Armenian Apostolic Church Visits Armenian Embassy |
On Friday, August 8, 2003, His Eminence, Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, the new Primate of the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church paid his first visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Ottawa.
Bishop Bagrat was appointed Primate of the Canadian Diocese in May, 2003, replacing Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, who was elected Primate of the Western Diocese.
Accompanying Bishop Bagrat were members of the clergy, representatives of various Armenian organizations. |
